Hydrant Club Milestone: An Historic View

As the one year anniversary of Hydrant Club approaches, I had grand illusions of penning an incredibly eloquent and witty post that perfectly encapsulated this last year’s experience, lauded the amazing people whose support, contributions and love have made it all possible and tied it all together with some deeply visionary commentary about where we will go from here.

Then I sat down for a few minutes and found myself entirely overwhelmed.

There is no way to easily capture the entirety of this last year in one tidy bundle. So I’ve opted to tackle it the way I’ve come to learn one has to tackle any monumental task … one bit at a time.

Over the next several days I’ll be offering up posts about the experience that has been the preparation for, the development of, the launching and now the first year operating The Hydrant Club.

This journey has been, without question, the most personally and professionally challenging of my life. It also already has proven itself to be the most rewarding.

So stay tuned for some posts that detail the lessons learned and great experiences … and in the meantime, enjoy this little selection of pre-opening shots of Hydrant Club!
